We are pleased to announce the stores and schedule for the “Ultraman Card Game” Authorised Tournaments in April 2025.

The Authorised Stores that are hosting Authorized Tournaments are as follows (as of 10 March 2025 (Monday)).

In addition, from February 2025 onwards, participants are able to apply for participation in the tournament via the ULTRA LEAGUE app.

※ The "ULTRA LEAGUE" app is currently unavailable in Vietnam, the Philippines, and Australia. Please check with your local stores directly to register for these events.

“Ultra League Galaxy Cup” Winner Prize ：「Ultraman Blu Aqua」

The Winner Prize for “Galaxy Cup” tournaments in April will be “Ultraman Blu Aqua” produced with an exquisite “WINNER” foil finish! Following “Ultraman Rosso Flame” from the March tournament, here is another card from “Ultraman R/B”. This is a gorgeous parallel version of the triple rare (RRR) card from BP02!

“Ultra League Galaxy Cup” Top-ranking Prize: “The Wandering Future”

The Top-ranking Prize for “Galaxy Cup” tournaments in April will be “The Wandering Future”, featuring the scene with Galaxy Armor battling with the Arc Galaxer! It is an essential card to have in building an Arc deck.

“Ultra League Challenge Match” Winner/Random Prize: “Ultraman Mebius Lightning Counter Zero”

The Winner/Random Prize for “Challenge Match” tournaments in April will be “Ultraman Mebius Lightning Counter Zero” with the Illustration from the Japanese edition of the game.

Due to a production issue, the incorrect artwork for the PR version of "Ultraman Mebius Lightning Counter Zero" was used for monthly tournaments in March. As such, 2 copies of "Ultraman Mebius Lightning Counter Zero" with the corrected artwork will be distributed as the Challenge Cup Winner/Random prize instead.

We apologize for the mistake, and will strive to ensure this does not happen in the future.

“Ultra League Meetups”, “Ultra League Challenge Match”, “Ultra League Galaxy Card” Participation Prize: “Ultraman Decker Miracle Type”

The participation prize for all tournaments is the “Ultraman Decker Miracle Type” card, an essential card to include in a Ultraman Trigger/Decker deck, which increases its own BP in combination with Ultraman Trigger.

 ◾️About each Tournament Format

“Ultra League Galaxy Cup”

Overview

●   This is a highly competitive tournament that gives players the chance to test their skills. It is held once a month at authorized stores worldwide, where all participants receive a participation prize, while the winner and other top players receive prizes.

Tournament format

●   The tournament is held in a Swiss draw format until there is one winner. The top players, who make up 1/4 of the total number of participants, will then compete in a final tournament to decide the winner.

     ※ If the number of participants on the day is less than 1/4 of the capacity, only the Swiss draw format will be used.

●   The match-ups will be decided by the matching system via the application..

●   The recommended time for each match is 15 minutes.

"Ultra League Challenge Match": 

Overview

●  This is a tournament where players can enjoy playing the “Ultraman Card Game” in a casual setting. The tournament will be held once a week at authorized stores nationwide, and all participants will receive a participation prize and the winner will receive a prize. At the end of the tournament, all participants except the winner will play rock-paper-scissors-paper and the winner will receive a prize.

Tournament format

●   The tournament is held in a Swiss draw or Swiss Draw + Tournament format until there is one winner. 

●   The match-ups will be decided by the matching system via the application..

●   The recommended time for each match is 15 minutes.

"Ultra League Meet Up": 

Overview

● Aimed at letting a wide range of players enjoy the "Ultraman Card Game" through casual matches and social interactions. Held once a week at official stores across the nation, all participants receive a prize.

● The format and progression of the tournament will be decided by the store.

■Rules and Points to note

This event is not hosted by Tsuburaya Productions. It is hosted by an authorized store in accordance with the floor rules on the official website.

※Use of duplicated cards or other non-official cards is prohibited.         

※Transparent sleeves should not be used at this event. Card sleeves can be used up to 2 layers.

※Change of deck during the event is prohibited.

※If you have any questions about the rules, please raise your hand and ask the staff at the store for a ruling, and follow that ruling. Please take note that if you continue with the match as it is, you will not be able to receive a correct ruling.

※In the event that the tournament cannot be held due to there being only one participant, a participant prize will still be distributed.

 ◾️About Authorised Tournaments

The “Ultraman Card Game Authorised Tournaments” are exclusively hosted by Authorised stores officially recognized by Tsuburaya Productions. Authorised Stores are stores that have appropriate knowledge of the “Ultraman Card Game” product and the rules of play and are able to organise tournaments under fair rules.

There are three types of official tournaments that are differentiated by scale and content: the "Ultra League Meetup," "Ultra League Challenge Match," and "Ultra League Galaxy Cup." Participants in each tournament will receive participation cards, and special cards are being awarded based on your results in each tournament. In Higher-level tournaments, top players are awarded exclusive prize cards to celebrate their performance.
