【Important】Regarding the Conclusion of the Collection Point Program and Additional Measures

Hello everyone,

This is Shishido, General Producer of the Ultraman Card Game.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support and passion for the Ultraman Card Game.

First, regarding the transition to a ranking-based system for the Vol. 3 campaign: our original intention was to ensure the long-term sustainability of the service. However, the result was an intensely competitive environment that exceeded both your expectations and our own. We sincerely acknowledge that we did not give sufficient consideration to players who simply wished to enjoy collecting cards and opening packs.

In this column, we would like to provide further clarification regarding the “Collection Point” program announced previously, as well as share additional details on the matters we have been carefully reviewing.

Background Behind the Decision to End the Program

Some users have expressed concerns that the program had always been intended to end after the Vol. 3 campaign. However, this was never our intention.

Originally, we had planned to continue the program through the forth and fifth campaigns, and preparations for the ranking system and related updates were already underway. However, as mentioned in the previous column, we encountered a critical issue involving data inaccuracies. After careful consideration, we determined that continuing operations under the current system could compromise fairness for all players.

Following extensive internal discussions, we ultimately concluded that it would be inappropriate to continue operating the program in its current incomplete state. We deeply apologize for the sudden change in direction and for having to announce the end of the program unexpectedly.

Reason for Extending the Vol. 3 Campaign Period

We would also like to explain the reason behind the extension of the Vol. 3 campaign period.

During the manufacturing process for Booster Pack Vol. 7 (BP07), released in March, flyers containing QR codes for the program had already been printed and inserted into the packs before the decision to conclude the program was finalized.

Had the campaign ended according to the original schedule, players who purchased BP07 would not have been able to use the points they received, placing those customers at a disadvantage. As such, we decided to extend the campaign period to ensure that all players who purchased BP07 would still have the opportunity to redeem and use their points properly.

Additional Measure: Introduction of a New “AA Rank”

In recognition of the tremendous time, passion, and dedication shown by everyone who participated, as well as the highly competitive nature of this campaign, we have been exploring the best possible way to properly acknowledge your efforts. We sincerely apologize for the time taken to make this announcement.

As an additional measure, we will introduce a new “AA Rank” for players placed at the top tier of the current A Rank.

Eligible Players:

Players ranked from 101st to 250th place in the Collection Points Vol. 3 campaign rankings.

Reward Details:

In addition to the standard A Rank rewards (1 copy each of 5 different cards), eligible players will also receive 1 copy each of the remaining 5 cards that were previously exclusive to S Rank rewards.

(A total of 10 different cards, 1 copy each.)

This measure is being introduced as a token of appreciation and respect from the operations team to everyone who competed passionately for the top positions until the very end, including those who narrowly missed reaching S Rank.

Schedule Changes and Reward Distribution Method

Due to the introduction of the AA Rank and the additional production required for the reward cards, extra preparation time will be necessary, and the original delivery schedule will be delayed.

At present, we are aiming to begin distribution around late October, and we sincerely ask for your understanding and patience.

Further details will be announced through the official website and official social media channels once the schedule has been finalized.

While the Collection Point program will conclude with this campaign, we remain committed to delivering the excitement of opening packs and the enjoyment of collecting cards through even better experiences and future product developments.

In addition, the highly anticipated Booster Pack Vol. 8 (BP08) is scheduled for release on 10 July. We are preparing many powerful characters and exciting new strategies that we hope will further energize the competitive scene and excite players, so please look forward to future updates.

Thanks to your continued support, the Ultraman Card Game will soon enter its second anniversary stage. We will take this experience seriously as we continue striving to create an environment where everyone can enjoy the game with confidence and pride.

Thank you once again for your continued support of the Ultraman Card Game.
