●Introduction

Hello everyone, it's been a while! This is Mukai, the development producer for the Ultraman Card Game.

SD03 "Ω to the Future" has finally launched – have you gotten your hands on it yet? With this new release and store qualifiers for the Ultra League World Championship starting in August in Japan, it feels to me like UCG is reaching brand new heights!

This time, I'd like to introduce decks featuring notable characters from BP04 “Gleam of Eternal Hope”, which will be released on Friday, August 1st. We're even releasing a sample deck list!

Whether it’s for casual games or if you’re preparing for Championships, I hope this is a helpful reference for your deck building. Let's dive in!

◎Dyna・Arc

This deck focuses on Ultraman Dyna as its core, with Ultraman Arc providing support.

It uses two Scene Cards to optimize your hand, then deploys Lv2 and Lv3 DOUBLE Heroes before using the effect of "Ultraman Dyna Flash Type (RRR)" to make them TRIPLE! This deck seizes the initiative and aims to overwhelm the opponent with a powerful board presence.

Ultraman Arc is able to regain momentum by playing your own Scene card even if the opponent already has one in play. The Ultraman Arc (RRR) from BP01 has a modest BP of 11000, but it can be boosted to 18000 with Dyna's effect, making them an excellent pair.

If you prefer, it's also possible to build the deck focused around Arc instead. Please try out various deck constructions!

Dyna Deck Image◎Omega・Meteokaiju

This deck centers around Ultraman Omega and pairing him with two Meteokaiju: Rekiness and Trigaron.

Use Trigaron and the Scene card "Here Comes an Alien" to refine your hand, then use Rekiness' effect for rapid character grade-ups to decisively win the game!

The key card, of course, is Ultraman Omega (RRR) from BP04. He boasts powerful effects even as a DOUBLE, and when he levels up, he reaches an exceptional 18000 BP.

Pairing it with Ultraman Omega Rekiness Armor (RRR) from SD03 opens up a powerful combo: returning Meteokaiju from your discard pile back to your deck for reuse! We hope you’ll enjoy this deck, which offers a unique play experience by combining Ultraman with two Kaiju.

You can also catch up on missed episodes on the official Ultraman YouTube channel. Be sure to check it out!

◎Trigger・Decker

The Trigger deck that first appeared in BP01 has received upgrades as well!

Sculpt your hand using Ultraman Decker Miracle Type (U) from BP03 and "For Smiles," which has been reprinted with new artwork in BP04. You can then use Ultraman Trigger Ultra Dual Sword (R) to retrieve cards from your discard pile. Finally, achieve victory in one swift move with the effect of Ultraman Trigger Multi Type (RRR) from BP04, which can power up a SINGLE Ultra Hero by 3000 BP, and a DOUBLE Ultra Hero by 2000 BP!

Trigger Deck Image◎Nexus・X

This deck draws on the power of Ultraman X, a new addition in BP04, alongside the strengths of Ultraman Nexus, who made his appearance from BP03. The core concept is to use Nexus’s abilities to control your opponent's Scene card usage, while X prevents your opponent's characters from levelling up. I think back to the concept of "Bonds - Unite," employing a strategy that disrupts your opponent’s play from multiple angles.

We've included a slightly higher number of Scene Cards, with eight in total, to maximize the effects of “Ultraman Nexus Junis (RRR)” and “Ultraman Nexus Cross Ray Schtrom (R)”.

You can check the type of your opponent's top deck card in advance by using the effect of the Scene Card "All For One." Then, use Ultraman X's activate effect to land a guaranteed hit with Xanadium Beam!

  • BP04-023 Ultraman X Xanadium Beam ×4
  • BP04-048 Ultraman Nexus Cross Ray Schtrom ×4

  • BP03-011 Ultraman Nexus Anphans ×4
  • BP03-010 Ultraman Nexus ×4
  • BP03-101 Labyrinth ×3
  • BP04-103 All For One ×4

Nexus Deck Image◎Ginga・Z

The highly anticipated Ultraman Z RRR card is finally making its debut in this Booster Pack!

This deck aims for victory by leveraging Ultraman Z's hand-increasing effects, significantly boosting BP with "The Unidentified Object Convoy Order" and “Ultraman Z Alpha Edge (RRR)”. Another key concept is the inclusion of a considerable number of Scene Cards, all of which have powerful effects. Being proactive in taking the Lead in order to play your Scene Cards will help you to quickly double your returns!

Ginga Z Image

Relying solely on Ultraman Z might make grade-ups difficult. This can lead to a tough situation if your opponent, who can quickly establish TRIPLE equivalent cards in the current round, take the initiative. To counter this, we've included some cards from Ultraman Ginga, a “Senior” from the New Generation, as support. This stabilizes the deployment of 17000 BP characters, allowing you to consistently bring out 17000 BP in the current round and reliably play "The Unidentified Object Convoy Order".

In particular, the Ultraman Ginga set of Lv1: 0 cards, Lv2: 6 cards, and Lv3: 4 cards is highly versatile and can easily be "loaned out" to other decks. We highly recommend utilizing it!

Ginga Z Deck Image◎Ginga・Victory

This deck combines Ultraman Victory, newly introduced in BP04, with Ginga strengthened by Ginga Strium.

Unlike the BP03 meta where Ginga was more of a support character, this build places Ginga as the main attacker with Victory in a supporting role.

You'll increase your drawing power with hand-refreshing effects from cards like “Ultraman Ginga Ginga Thunderbolt (RR)” and “Ultraman Victory (RR)”. Then, deploy high BP characters as DOUBLE to TRIPLE equivalents using “Ultraman Victory EX Red King Knuckle (RR)” and “Ultraman Ginga (RRR)”.

Ginga Victory Image

Previously, a drawback of Ultraman Ginga was that once he became TRIPLE, his effects wouldn't activate unless you use Scene cards with effects like "The Battle for Dreams." However, Ultraman Ginga Strium (RR) from BP04 perfectly covers this!

That said, you'll need to constantly be aware of the number of DOUBLE characters, making this a deck that truly tests a player's skill.

We hope you'll play this deck many times and get a solid grasp of Ginga and Victory's abilities!
